Arturos Taco's Reviews

WOW. Now this is the definition of GREAT TACOS! Tried the skirt steak, avocado, pork and tongue tacos -- all of them were the best I've had anywhere in Chicago Metro. Fresh, flavorful, juicy, stuffed -- AND, cheap! (only $1.80/each). They even serve Cerveza (tap or bottles). Only $1.50 for a MUG of Michelob or Bud. ($8 for pitcher). No atmosphere to speak of, but who cares -- come for the food, wolf it down, and move on. (P.S. Beats Tacalitlan hands down, and per my prior review I thought it was the best -- boy was I wrong). Now I truly know where to go for the best Tacos! Only wish I'd found out sooner. Better late than never.

Arturo's Tacos is synonomous with heaven. Delicious burritos, horchata, and tortas. Flan is to die for. The only thing on the menu ive had that isnt amazing is the Quesadilla, which is small and overpriced. great cheap food and fast friendly service! the owner is the cashier during the day, except for thursdays and some sundays.

ARTURO’S TACOS

“Sorry, we don’t have anything,” we mumbled to the panhandler. But a glance at the table said we had too much. Margaritas here come in goblets sized for Henry VIII, and we’d ordered platters of fajitas and Veracruz-style whole red snapper. Open round the clock, this brightly lit corner storefront draws Anglo and Latino locals—twentysomethings sopping up the night’s drink with the Tex-Mex standards (tacos, tortas, fat burritos) and workmen huddled over cups of coffee at the counter. | Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily; open 24 hours | $ | 2001 N.
